The "geothermic project of Ferrara" was born in the early 80's from the impulse of City of Ferrara with the aim to provide concrete solutions for the need to reduce, in a considerable way, the environmental impact, caused by the traditional energetic sources.

The "Project" is characterized by the realization of an "Integrated Energetic System " capable to use renewable energy sources ("Geothermal" ,specificity that makes Ferrara a rare example in the international panorama), sources of thermic recovery, together with a traditional system of thermic production that uses fossil combustible (methan gas) to cover, when necessary, particular "point" of thermic charge.
